Kindness Friendship
Early one bright morning, a boy named Timmy woke up with a big idea. He loved helping his neighbors and today, he wanted to do something nice for Mrs. Green, who was very old and very kind. On the way to her house, Timmy spotted a funny-looking goose by the pond. This goose had soft golden feathers that shimmered in the sunlight. The goose looked hungry, so Timmy broke his roll in half and gave a piece to the goose. The happy goose honked and waddled behind Timmy as he walked.

When Timmy arrived at Mrs. Green’s house, the golden goose followed him to the door. Neighbors came to see this shiny goose. They tried to pet the goose, but when little Molly put her hand on the goose, her hand stuck to the feathers! Then Sam tried to help Molly, and—oh no!—he stuck too. Soon there was a silly, giggling line of people all holding on to each other, trying to catch the golden goose.

The golden goose kept waddling toward the town, leading the whole bunch. People peeked out their windows and smiled to see the goofy parade. In the town’s castle lived a princess who felt sad and hardly ever smiled. When she looked out and saw the long, giggling line of friends walking after a shiny goose, she began to laugh, first a little, then a lot! Everyone cheered because the princess was finally happy again.

The king was so pleased to see his daughter laugh that he invited Timmy and the golden goose to the castle for a wonderful day full of fun, silly dances, and lots of fresh bread for everyone.

Kindness and sharing can turn a regular day into a golden adventure!
