Kindness Friendship
Once upon a time, in a bright green meadow, there lived a little brown rabbit who liked to do things his own way. He would stomp his tiny feet and twitch his nose in a grumpy way, while other rabbits played and shared, but he liked to snatch things and run away.

One sunny morning, a gentle white rabbit hopped onto the grass, holding a big, juicy carrot. The brown rabbit watched with wide eyes as the nice white rabbit smiled and nibbled on his carrot. All the other rabbits gathered around, hoping for a turn to taste the delicious treat. But the brown rabbit didn’t ask. Instead, he zipped over, grabbed the carrot, and dashed away to hide under some tall flowers.

The other rabbits stopped playing. The gentle white rabbit looked sad, wishing someone would help. While the brown rabbit chewed the carrot, a wise old sparrow swooped down from his branch. “Little brown rabbit,” chirped the sparrow, “is it kind to take things without asking?” The brown rabbit stopped chewing and felt a funny twist in his tummy. Maybe taking the carrot wasn’t such a fun idea after all.

Just then, a breeze blew through the leaves, making the brown rabbit drop the carrot. It rolled across the grass, all the way back to the white rabbit. The brown rabbit peeked out, thinking about what the sparrow said. Taking things without asking hadn’t made him happy, and he missed jumping and laughing with the others.

Slowly, the brown rabbit hopped back to the group. He looked up at the white rabbit and said, “I’m sorry for taking your carrot.” The white rabbit smiled and broke the carrot in half, sharing it with the brown rabbit. The brown rabbit’s nose wiggled with joy. He learned that sharing and being kind was much more fun than being grumpy.

From then on, the little brown rabbit made new friends and played gentle games with them every day. The whole meadow felt happier because one small rabbit learned how good it feels to be kind.
